Second Aliens omnibus coming in August from Marvel

Marvel Comics continues its xenomorphic run with Aliens: The Original Years Omnibus vol 2. The book arrives in stores to close out this summer.

Past horrors

Unless you’ve either not been paying attention or you’re not an Aliens fan, you know all about Marvel Comics’ new Aliens run. The publisher signed the property not long ago, adding it to its massive catalog.

And while there are new Aliens tales coming, they also announced a series of Omnibuses. These mighty books will be loaded up with stories from the IP’s past, which means formerly Dark Horse Comics-published tales.

If you haven’t read Aliens comics in the past, then you should know that’s a very good thing. Dark Horse’s stuff was by and large terrific, and told some fantastic stories, many of which were not even close to being canon.

With volume 1 announced already, we can now confirm that a second book will be incoming. Landing in stores this coming August (2021), it’s going to be packed.
