A fan-favorite map returns once again in the latest Call of Duty. Get ready to play through Nuketown yet again, but way crazier, in Black Ops 4 form.
Nuketown redux
How long has it been since you played a few rounds on Nuketown? Playing off of the theme of a 50s era nuclear test “city”, Nuketown first debuted in Black Ops. From there, it returned for Black Ops 2, though in futuristic form, and it wasn’t done yet. There was a zombies version of the map as well, and a few more.
Bottom line, it’s popular, and so it’s back yet again.
Unlike some other maps for Black Ops 4, Nuketown is set to be free of charge. Yep, even though you’ll have to download a copy for yourself, it’s feee to add onto your base copy of the game. As with most other Call of Duty stuff this generation though, it’s set to land on PS4 first.
The map will officially hit tomorrow, November 13th, for that PlayStation edition of Black Ops 4. Obviously, that’s not to say that you won’t get it on the Xbox One and PC, you’ll just have to wait a bit longer for those versions of it.
Just when that might be though, hasn’t been announced just yet. Stay tuned.
