The first expansion for NeocoreGames’ Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr is here, with an infusion of new worlds and foes.
The darkness arrives
Our review of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr just posted yesterday. We thought it was a pretty impressive romp through Games Workshop’s sci-fi/fantasy realm. And now, it’s getting bigger.
As of today, the game’s Season One content is live and ready for download. In it, you’ll find a healthy selection of new content, including:
- New enemy faction: Drukhari (Dark Eldar)
- New subsector: Five new systems with numerous new points of interests
- Three new investigations, focusing on the Dark Eldar
- Level cap increased from 50 to 70
Pretty solid selection of fresh stuff to do there, especially since the game was already pretty generous with extra missions. And there’s more to come. Though we don’t know how many are planned, more Seasons are coming with Neocore saying “many more” are on the way. They’ll all be just as deep as this addition too, with each one offering a central theme (like the Dark Eldar are), and content to match.
Maybe the best part is that they’re all going to be free of charge. Yep, none of these packs will cost you anything to add onto the main game. So apparently, in the far future there is only free stuff. Sounds lovely.
