Battlefront II is getting yet another update, this one isn’t as major as the last one, but still adds in a new hero vehicle and map on the planet Crait.
The battle continues
Star Wars Battlefront II didn’t get the warmest of receptions when it hit over the Holidays, but that’s not stopping EA from updating the game. There’s still plenty of new stuff planned for it, and it might just be enough to get fans onboard.
Recently, the game received it’s The Last Jedi content, and this new update builds on that. Adding in a new Blast map, the action remains on Crait. That’s a planet that featured heavily in the movie, and was a part of The Last Jedi’s dlc in Battlefront II.
That’s not the only new inclusion though, as Iden Verso’s TIE fighter is now available as a hero vehicle as well. Players of the game’s campaign will recognize her as the “hero” of Battlefront II’s single player content, and her TIE is probably a little overdue for a multiplayer presence.
Past all that, there are also a few fixes in this download. And gamers can expect to see some gameplay tweaks too, in the form of character balancing. Heroes like “Finn, Captain Phasma, Lando Calrissian and Boba Fett” have all gotten a little attention.
All in all this is a pretty major update… for a minor update. If that makes sense. Read more about it here.
