Super Mario Galaxy might be hitting the Wii U soon

It looks like the Wii’s first 3D Mario game, that sent the plumber into the depths of space, will be getting a Wii U release.

You might remember that the sequel, Super Mario Galaxy 2, was indeed already released on the Wii U, thought the first game in the series wasn’t so lucky outside of Japan. Well, till now anyway if a recent rating is to be believed.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 has officially been rated by the ESRB according to website VG247. Posting with the expected ‘E’ rating, the game has no release date as of yet, though as the site supposes, the release of the rating info might mean that gamers will be in for a little Holiday surprise.

Stay tuned, we’ll have more as it’s announced.
