Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final Unveiled

The new Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final game is announced for 3DS, to be released February in Japan.

Today, Atlus has announced a new title for the 3DS called Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final.  It is confirmed to be a completely new title, and not a remake of 2013’s SMT IV.  The game will be directed by Satoshi Oyama, who worked as Chief Programmer on SMT IV, as well as Nocturne and the Digital Devil Saga games on PS2, and will release on February 10th, 2016, in Japan.

We only need to wait until October 11th, 7PM JST, to find out more.

As for confirmation of a western release, we’ll undoubtedly have to wait a little longer.  I’ve got my fingers crossed, as I loved the collection and creation aspects of the original SMT IV, and am eager to revisit the dystopian Tokyo in my free time.  Can we hope for as sweet a deal as last time?  Only time will tell.

In the meantime, you can enjoy the original Shin Megami Tensei IV for just $15 on the eShop (on sale for 25% off until 10/19).
