Indiana Jones and the Great Circle coming to PS5 in April

Bethesda’s first-person action/adventure Indiana Jones and the Great Circle makes the leap from Xbox and PC to the PS5 in April.

Fortune and glory kid

Even though Bethesda is an Xbox-related publisher, it’s pretty common to see its titles appear on the likes of… well just about every other platform as well. And it was revealed nice and early that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle would follow suit.

One of the best titles of 2024, Indy’s latest digital adventure started life as an Xbox (and PC) timed exclusive, but will indeed make its way to Sony’s platform this spring. Yes, spring. PlayStation fans won’t have to wait a full year to get in on the action, and will be able to grab a copy as soon as April 17th.

Troy Baker, the voice of Indy, and fellow video game explorer Nolan North make the big reveal in the video below.

PlayStation 5 players prepare to step into the boots of the iconic adventurer and experience an authentic Indiana Jones™ journey set in 1937, between the events of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark™ andIndiana Jones and the Last Crusade™. In this cinematic, single-player adventure, players will use Indy’s whip and wits to navigate a narrative-driven world of adventure, immersive action, and intriguing puzzles. Combine stealthy infiltration, first-person melee, and gunplay to sneak, fight and puzzle while confronting sinister forces around the world as Indiana Jones.

Bethesda press release

Along with being ported to the standard PS5, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has also been optimized for the PS5 Pro. That translates to mean the game will take advantage of Sony’s updated hardware with a visual boost, but that’s not all that’s new as there are some fresh whip-cracking abilities too. Those are more general additions though, that fans will find added to all versions of the game, so no worries on missing out.

Check out the full description below.

“Open Season,” whip-cracking an enemy will temporarily cause them to take more damage from subsequent attacks, while when using “Sleight of Hand,” players can disarm an enemy and cause their weapon to fly Indy’s way. These new abilities will be available across all platforms by April 15.

Bethesda press release

Fans a look for a trio of editions to hit for the PS5 this April 17th, including Standard, Premium, and Collector’s Editions. The former two will have digital and physical availability, while the Collector’s will be physical only, and come loaded with extras.
