Predator vs Spider-Man (Comics) Preview

Marvel Comics is getting ready to set Spidey against a particularly vicious Predator this summer, and we’ve got a short preview.

He’s in town with a few days to kill

If you’ve been following along with Marvel Comics’ Predator action, then you’ve seen the alien hunter pitted against some of the comic book publisher’s biggest heroes. First a Pred hunted Wolverine across the decades, then Wakanda almost lost its king, and now one’s back in a big city.

We’re not talking about LA though, as seen in Predator II, but NYC. Fans know well that Marvel’s version of Manhattan is home to loads of superheroes who could find themselves targeted, but there’s one in particular that’s going to find himself in the sights of the Yautja. And yeah of course it’s Spider-Man.

Marvel will be releasing the first issue of what’ll be four issue series next month, when Predator vs Spider-Man arrives from the team of writer Benjamin Percy and artist Marcelo Ferreira. As a lead in, the publisher has just released a short unlettered preview, emphasis on “short”.

While it doesn’t get too deep into the action though, it should give you a feel for just how surprisingly gruesome this mini-series could be.
