A new team of heavy-hitting mutants forms this February with Weapon X-Men

Violent and brutal, Weapon X-Men is a new series from Marvel that’ll bring together the likes of Wolverine, Cable, Chamber, and more.

While there’s a ton of X-books out there already here in the post-Krakoan era, there’s always room for one more. Well, there is when it’s packed with fan-favorite heroes anyway, and when it comes to Weapon X-Men, that seems to be exactly the case. We’re not talking about all oversaturated superstars either, as several mutant heroes make a welcome reappearance for the fresh series.

The book will unleash a five-pack of heroes that includes Wolverine, Deadpool, and Cable, plus Generation X’s Chamber, and seldom seen X-Man Thunderbird. Joe Casey is the writer responsible for this new conglomeration, who’ll be joined by artist ChrisCross for what certainly seems like one heck of a first-mission.

Why’s that? Because ushering in Weapon X-Men is none other than a One World Under Doom crossover.
