It’s almost the Holiday Season, and you know what that means. Yep, it’s Black Friday deal time, and Nintendo has revealed its list.
Save some Nintendough
With Halloween firmly in the rearview, one of the best times of the year to find good deals on games is here, as we ramp up into the Holiday Season. Seasonal sales and those labeled with “Black Friday” are appearing everywhere, and Nintendo is naturally set to get in on the action as well. The company just revealed its official Black Friday deals list, all of which will kickoff the Sunday before the actual retail-holiday, on November 24th.
Discounts will run the gamut from physical, boxed games, to digital offerings, and will include hardware savings as well. Fans looking for a new console can expect to see money off on every Switch SKU, including both the standard model and the OLED. There’s even savings on the just-launched Nintendo Switch Lite: Hyrule Edition to be had.
Sale prices on retail games will include:
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – $49.99
- Super Mario Maker 2 – $39.99
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons – $39.99
- Pikmin 4 – $39.99
- Nintendo Switch Sports – $39.99
- Kirby and the Forgotten Land – $39.99
- Super Mario Odyssey – $29.99
- Pikmin 1 + 2 – $29.99
Looking for consoles? That list serves up:
- Nintendo Switch: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle – $299.99
- Nintendo Switch – OLED Model: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle – $349.99
- Nintendo Switch Lite: Hyrule Edition with Bonus Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack -$209.99
Note too, that the Nintendo Switch – OLED Model: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle includes a 12 month subscription to Nintendo Switch Online. That’s to mean that you’ll get to play the NES, Super NES and Game Boy games that the service carries right out of the box.
While we’re on the subject too, the Nintendo Switch Lite: Hyrule Edition includes a 12 month sub for both the base level and the Expansion Pack tier. That includes the above plus a year of Nintendo 64, SEGA Genesis, and Game Boy Advance games. A pretty great value if you’re looking for a handheld-only console.
We did mention that there will be sales happening on the eShop too, and there indeed will be. Unfortunately we don’t know just yet what those sale prices will be or on what games they’ll be offered, but we can tell you that the sale will kick off ahead of the ones above. Switch owners should watch the eShop for digital deals starting after November 19th.
