For Ultramar! Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2’s launch trailer has arrived

Take one last look at Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 before the action game arrives for consoles and the PC.

Your craft is death

If there’s a better looking Warhammer title on the horizon than Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, we’re not sure what it’d be. The all-out action title from Focus Entertainment and developer Saber Interactive brings back the original game’s legendary Ultramarine Titus, to battle against a planetary siege.

This time it’s not Orks, but deadly Tyranids, and from the look of things, it’s a force that few video games have presented before. Space Marine 2‘s battlefields have depth to them, with huge swarms of Tyranids moving from seemingly everywhere. Imperial Guardsmen stand no chance against this crushing force, so it’s a good thing that there are angels among them.

The title brings all of that by way of its campaign, in addition to a compliment of multiplayer modes, both co-op and competitive. And while the actual launch is next week, fans who’ve pre-ordered the Gold or Ultra Editions of the game can dig in now.

Those Gold and Ultra editions of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 are out for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with the base versions coming up on September the 9th. That’s not all for the game either, not by a long shot, as there’s a full post-launch roadmap as well, with plenty more content that’s en route in the months to come. Scroll down to take a look at that.
