HONŌ Studio presents the Armored Avenger, as Iron Man joins the line

Well if you weren’t paying attention to HONŌ Studio before, the just announced Iron Man might change your mind.

HO-NO, my wallet

We’ve been reporting for a while now, on what’s been an impressive Marvel Comics line-to-be from upstart company HONŌ Studio. While none of the figures in that 12″ collector figure series are out just yet, all of them have looked great. So far, we’ve seen announcements for the likes of Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Magneto, plus one tease.

That, at the time, was for Marvel’s god of thunder Thor, but now we see that the Odinson is not ready for his debut just yet. Instead, HONŌ has dropped some imagery for what might be the best-looking Iron Man figure ever. Seriously, this thing looks all kinds of awesome.

Keep in mind that what you see below in the gallery is not a statue.

Tony Stark, a troubled but brilliant inventor, created the Iron Man suit to save his life and help him escape capture. But, the technologically advanced suit of mechanized armor soon became the basis of his super hero persona.

Inspired by his appearance in Marvel comics, the Iron Man Action Figure by HONŌ Studio captures his classic look at different eras.

This highly articulated figure features seamless silicone arms and legs for enhanced posing options. Sporting his signature metallic red and gold colors, Iron Man comes with two swappable masks plus multiple swap-out hands including LED-illuminated repulsor palms. The figure has a magnet-activatedLED light-up feature on the arc reactor and comes with magnetic countermeasure dispensers. The unique backdrop also allows collectors to add their own comic cover to create a customizable display.

Sideshow press release

Will the silicone hold up over time? That we can’t say, but we’re still pretty darn excited for this figure. If you are too, and you’d like to lock one up for yourself, hit one of the Sideshow links above to check out the official listing on the retailer’s online shop.

HONŌ Studio’s Iron Man is set to ship some time int he first half of 2025, and is priced in at $215 USD.
