Time to make some room Star Wars fans, Sideshow’s Scum & Villainy Collection is coming

The first major new Star Wars line from Sideshow in a while, the Scum & Villainy Collection is exactly what it sounds like.

For those who collect higher end Star Wars figures, there’s a pretty constant drought of aliens and minor characters. You see ’em once in a while for sure, but they’re not all that common either, as fans are more likely to be treated to major human characters and Republic/Imperial troop-types than anything else.

Well, if you’ve been hoping for less humans and more NHI on your bookcase, then your time is coming. Sideshow has just revealed the upcoming Scum & Villainy collection, with individual figures set to start shipping some time in the spring/summer of 2025.

The first two figures from the line are up for pre-order now, with familiar faces Greedo and Ponda Baba leading the way, but there’s way more to be seen. Three characters have gotten partial reveals, and are ready to accept RSVP’s, so Sideshow will let you know when they’re ready for listing. Those include Imperial snitch Garindan, the demonic Labria, and the hideous Doc Evazan.

While you’re perusing the galleries too, keep in mind that each figure will have a Sideshow exclusive edition, with each one featuring an additional accessory. Both are listed in the press release information for today’s full reveals, with links sending you to Sideshow’s online shop. Just keep in mind that the exclusive ones have time-Iimits (a little under 12 days at time of this writing), so if you want one of those, best get to pre-ordering sooner than later.

Greedo

A Rodian bounty hunter with a blaster and a bad attitude, Greedo’s penchant for picking fights will undoubtedly lead him into trouble. Often hired for mercenary work by the powerful crime lord Jabba the Hutt, Greedo is not to be messed with!

The exquisitely crafted Greedo™ 1/6 Scale Figure by Sideshow is inspired by his appearance in Star Wars: A New Hope™.

Featuring a detailed portrait with large dark eyes and green, textured skin, this highly articulated figure can be displayed in a wide variety of poses. Ponda Baba

Watch out … he’s armed and dangerous! Working alongside the dubious Dr. Cornelius Evazan, Baba is a smuggler working for Jabba the Hutt. When he isn’t busy pirating, Baba can be found enjoying a relaxing drink at Mos Eisley’s finest establishment, the cantina.

Inspired by the character’s appearance in Star Wars: A New Hope, the Ponda Baba™ 1/6 Scale Figure captures Baba’s distinctive visage with gray skin, bulbous black eyes, and curled tusks.

This fully articulated, highly poseable figure wears a cut and sew fabric costume including brown pants, black boots, a light gray shirt, and a bright orange jacket. The Ponda Baba™ 1/6 Scale Figure comes with a blaster, a blaster holster, and three alternate, swap-out hands featuring Ponda’s viciously clawed fingers.
