Nintendo Download: Racking Up a Hefty Bounty

It’s potentially great week on the Switch, with Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, World of Goo 2, Volgarr the Viking II, Tomba and more.

Something old, something new

For the first few days of August, it’s a shockingly good week for the Switch, loaded with titles that might be worth checking out. That begins with Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, but rolls from there into a sharp set of games that are both new and re-releases.

Most Star Wars fans should be familiar with Star Wars: Bounty Hunter though, and why it’s the spotlighted game for the week. A hit from the PS2 days, Bounty Hunter takes place before Attack of the Clones, and lets players take on the role of the galaxy’s greatest bounty hunter, Jango Fett. While it was something of a hit for the iconic PlayStation, we haven’t seen the game ported to anything since, so it’s particularly cool to see it re-emerge.

Again though, there’s a ton more cool stuff this week. World of Goo 2 brings that fan-favorite series back as well, plus the tough as nails Volgarr the Viking 2 arrives. Even that’s not all though, as Tomba! makes it’s return with a Special Edition, and Aero the Acro-Bat lands on the Switch too.

All in all, it’s a great week for bigger stuff, and of course there’s a whole pile of smaller titles hitting too. Scroll down for the full list.
