Former Commando, Star Wars: The Bad Batch’s Scorch is coming up from Hot Toys

Hot Toys is dipping back into The Bad Batch later this year, with Commando-turned-Clone Commander Scorch.

Heating up

You might know Scorch from his days as a Republic Commando, in the video game of the same name. While that FPS was a pretty big hit (that’s since gotten a re-release), the clone’s service didn’t stop there. Fans of Disney+’s Star Wars offerings know that he actually made the leap to The Bad Batch.

On the recent sequel show, Scorch headed to the “secret Mount Tantiss”, where he was a part of the Advanced Science Division, commanding his own commandos and working under Dr. Royce Hemlock. So yes, while he was a part of the Grand Army of the Republic, he did in fact end up serving the Empire. And now he can be a part of your Hot Toys Star Wars shelf.

Since he basically kept his look throughout the saga too, he’ll kind of work no matter which era you want to place him in. Hot Toys just made the reveal of the figure today, adding him to the company’s ever-growing Star Wars collection.

Inspired by his appearance in the Star Wars: The Bad Batchanimated series, the Clone Commander Scorch™ 1/6 Scale Figure by Hot Toys features highly detailed armor in a white, gray, and yellow colorway complete with the character’s signature markings and signet. The finely crafted helmet has an LED light-up feature, giving collectors an additional display option. The commander comes equipped with a blaster pistol, a blaster rifle, a thermal detonator, and a backpack.

Don’t miss out on this limited-edition Star Wars collectible! The Clone Commander Scorch™ 1/6 Scale Figure by Hot Toys will be available at July 30, 2024 at 10 AM (PT) from Sideshow.com while supplies last.

Sideshow press release

As you a see above, Scorch is up for pre-order now… technically. He sold out pretty darn fast, but Sideshow Toys has a waiting list open, so if you want a chance at one, you might want to add your name. Scorch is set to ship in short order, heading out some time between August and December of this year.

He’s priced in at $270 USD.
