SDCC ’24: MeTV Toons hitting the Con with look at current animation slate, and Bugs Bunny’s 84th

There’ll be cartoons aplenty at San Diego Comic Con later this month, with MeTV Toons’ panel presentation.

Just launched, cable channel MeTV’s MeTV Toons is the place for classic animation and the cartoons that you might’ve grown up with. The channel has a whole bunch of classic properties on board, presenting everything from the iconic Looney Tunes collection of characters, to niche shows like the 90s gem that is Freakazoid!.

Now the platform will be heading to SDCC later this very month, with a packed panel moderated by Variety’s Michael Schneider. Attending will be actor and “official voice of MeTV Toons” Bob Bergen, plus “animation historian Jerry Beck, 2x Emmy-Award winning voice actor Eric Bauza, plus renowned voice actors Jeff Bergman and Candi Milo”.

The fun will kick off on July 26th, and run from 1-2pm pacific time. That’ll be in Ballroom 6A at the San Diego Convention Center. The show will contain a look at all the stuff that MeTV Toons currently showcases, plus an early look at what the channel has planned to celebrate the 84th birthday of the legendary Bugs Bunny.

Calling all classic animation fans!
