Masters of the Universe: Revolution to get an art showcase from Dark Horse

Continuing its line of MOTU books, Dark Horse has The Art of Masters of the Universe: Revolution set for release this Holiday.

An artistic revolution

Released on Netflix last year, Masters of the Universe Revolution was the follow-up to director Kevin Smith’s MOTU Revelation series. Set in a universe that somewhat resembles the original from the 80s, this new series brought all new action to Eternia, and featured fan-favorite elements like He-Man’s Battle Armor, Teela as The Goddess, and of course Hordak.

While the series is long over at this point and a threequel-series is still up in the air, Dark Horse Books has a look back in store. The publisher is preparing The Art of Masters of the Universe Revolution, which will bring 192 pages of oversized content to fans, and just in time for a little Holiday-time gift-giving.

The Art of Masters of the Universe: Revolution takes fans through the series’ development, featuring exclusive concept art, finished renders, and commentary from the animators and creators of the show. With this unique access to detailed images of the beloved world and characters of Masters of the Universe, fans can delve that much deeper into the heart of the epic battle for Eternia.

Dark Horse Books press release

Priced in at $49.99 USD, The Art of Masters of the Universe: Revolution will be hitting bookstores on December 3rd (2024), and comic shops on December 4th. Pre-orders are up right now, and fans can secure a copy for themselves from AmazonBarnes & NobleTFAW, your local comic shop and bookstore.
