Fans looking forward to Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed finally have a release date, plus some pre-order options.

First launched in 2010, Disney Epic Mickey brought the legendary cartoon character back for a whole new generation of video game fans. The game put a magical brush in the hands of Mickey Mouse, and set him against a horde of nasties, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, and the vile Shadow Blot, a villain ripped straight from Disney’s classic Mickey comics.
While it was popular, the title got only one sequel with The Power of Two, which landed two years later. And that, as they say, was that… til just a short time ago. It was then that fans of the defunct series got word that a full (but faithful) remake was in the works for the original game, bringing Epic Mickey action back for a whole new generation.
At the time, there was no release date, however that’s been seen to with today’s reveal. THQ Nordic has unveiled a September 24th, 2024 launch for developer Purple Lamp’s version of the title, plus what fans can expect from the Collector’s Edition.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, a faithful remake of the beloved classic adventure, is being developed by Purple Lamp in collaboration with Disney Games and published by THQ Nordic. Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is scheduled for release across PS4™, PS5™, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo® Switch and PC on September 24, 2024.
