Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy busts through 20 million units, kicks off franchise sale

Bandicoot fans have supported Activision Crash resurgence big time, and the publisher’s kicked off a big sale to celebrate.

A crashing good time

Launched in 2017, Activision’s Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy began a big return for the long-defunct mascot. Spinning out of that release was the likes of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, the return of Crash Team Racing, and even the launch of a remaster for the semi-related Spyro trilogy.

Apparently that original three-pack was pretty darned popular with fans, as Activision is touting the sell through of a massive 20 million units to date. Crash Bandicoot is still mighty popular apparently, who’d a thunk it? As mentioned, Activision is into celebrating that milestone, with a pretty big sale.

The publisher is slashing prices up to 75% on the full slate of modern Crash titles, but only for the PlayStation 4 and 5. Yes, you read that correctly, for some reason this sale is only good for Crash Bandicoot (and related) titles on Sony’s platforms. Weird? From where we sit, yeah a little, but Crash was formerly known as a mascot on the PlayStation, so maybe that’s the thinking. Whatever the reasoning, there are undoubtedly some sharp deals to be had

Here’s are the games on sale, complete with links:

If you do want to get in on any of these by the way, you might want to get your purchases done sooner than later. Activision says the pricing is only good till July 3rd, 2024.
