Two more arcade collections will join Evercade’s bartop arcade at launch

If you don’t know, retro-game company Evercade is launching a bartop cabinet this fall, and that’ll be along with two new collections.

Arcade action

Not too long ago, we reported on the reveal of Blaze Entertainment’s Evercade Alpha. A “bartop” arcade cabinet, the Alpha will serve to bridge the gap between the company’s already existing handhelds and set-top boxes, and the small form-factor arcade units that have become quite popular these days.

Much like those home and portable units too, the Alpha can utilize almost all of the Evercade’s cartridges. So you can theoretically play your favorite retro titles in one more way, with an especially directed focus on your favorite arcade games, which have their own niche in the ever-growing Evercade library. So it kind of only makes sense then that Blaze Entertainment would be supplementing the Alpha’s launch with some games.

Just revealed by Blaze, both Toaplan Arcade 3 and Data East Arcade 2 will be those game bundles, serving up an additional 19 arcade ports between them.

That list includes:

Toaplan Arcade 3 (A11)

  • Batsugun
  • Batsugun Special Version
  • FixEight
  • Ghox
  • Out Zone
  • Truxton II
  • Vimana

Data East Arcade 2 (A12)

  • B-Wings
  • Crude Buster
  • Edward Randy
  • Express Raider
  • Joe & Mac Returns
  • Last Mission
  • Midnight Resistance
  • Peter Pepper’s Ice Cream Factory
  • Shoot Out
  • SRD: Super Real Darwin
  • Super BurgerTime
  • Trio The Punch: Never Forget Me…

Look for all of the above to release this November, along with the Evercade Alpha itself. Pre-orders for the two new game collections will kick off on September 26th, thought the Alpha itself is up right now in both Mega Man and Street Fighter editions.
