This summer is going to be a roller coaster ride for X-Men fans

The divisive Krakoan Age is coming to a close for Marvel Comics’ mutants, but there’s a Rise from the Ashes coming right after.

Teased and previewed for some time at this point, the age of Krakoa is indeed ending. The close of five years of storytelling is looking like it’s set to end with a bang too, though of course it’s finale far from a nail in the X-Men’s coffin. As Marvel points out, the ending is going to mirror its beginning, with a pair of “interconnected series”.

But although Fall of the House of X and Rise of the Powers of X will get all the headlines, there’s a myriad of crossover issues planned as well. Some of those will be pretty big-time too, and not all of them will be ‘X-books’ either.

How so? Marvel highlights X-Men, X-Men Forever, Cable, and… Invincible Iron Man. The action heats up in May, 2024, and roll on into June, as one age ends and another begins. Scroll down for all the details on the first announcements.
