Adventure to strange, new worlds on the Switch this week in Outer Wilds, then hit the never-ending Fortnite for some fresh happenings.

Don’t forget Turok

For the record, we more or less view Turok 3’s remaster as the spotlight game of the week for Switch. Brought back to life by the remastering legends at Nightdive Studios, one of the last great N64 FPS’ is looking awesome, and arrives on Switch in both single-purchase and ‘trilogy’ forms. Maybe Turok is an acquired taste though, and whatever your own preferences are, there are some bigger name modern titles out as well.

That’s a list that begins with the seemingly never-ending universe of Fortnite, as the multiplayer shooter returns once again with new content. And we’re not talking about a little upgrade either, as the game is receiving multiple new modes. Players can engage with LEGO Fortnite as of today, and can dive into Rocket Racing and the Fortnite Festival (a Holiday Season event) in the days to come.

Then there’s also Outer Wilds, which arrives with its Archeologist Edition. Including all the space and planet exploration that you’d expect from the title, the new AE version also includes the Echoes of the Eye expansion pack. Even more voyaging to strange, new worlds on the lookout for alien life? You bet.
