Prime gaming loads up with more big freebies, Diablo IV DLC for July

Yes, it’s just a mount, but there is nonetheless Diablo IV content to be grabbed for free this month, courtesy of Prime Gaming. And of course, that’s not all.

Well, here we are in the heights of summertime (in the N hemisphere anyway), and the AC is on full blast. So what’s a better way to spend your free time than playing some PC games? Well, probably getting those games for free, and that’s just what Prime Gaming delivers.

That’s every month of course, and this one being no exception, there are a number of titles hitting for Prime subscribers to add to their collections. Leading the way in that arena are the likes of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Bethesda’s Prey, and Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition. Those are technically ‘bonus games’ though, available through the 11th. So you’re going to want to get in on those before too long.

Together with the scheduled free games for July, it’s a pretty nice slate of complementary gaming.

Bonus titles

• Prey [Now Available via GOG] – Players will awaken aboard Talos I, a space station orbiting the moon in the year 2032, where they will be the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever. • July 13 NAIRI: Tower of Shirin [Amazon Games App] – Uncover a mysterious conspiracy in this gripping yet family-friendly adventure as players take on the role as Nairi in this oasis city where animals and humans live side-by-side!
• July 20 Wytchwood [Amazon Games App] – Explore a strange countryside, collect magic ingredients, brew sorcerous spells in this crafting adventure game set in a land of gothic fables and fairytales.
• July 27 Lunar Axe [Legacy Games Code] – Trapped inside an abandoned house, players must find a way out and unravel the mystery of inexplicable tremors before the city is destroyed.

Luna, Amazon’s game-streaming service, has some winners this month too, with Hot Wheels: Unleashed, Metal Slug, Endzone: A World Apart and Mail Mole all included.

Then on top of all of the above, there’s the DLC we mentioned. Yes, that’s including Diablo IV, but this month also brings in Modern Warfare 2, Overwatch 2, and Pokemon GO additions.

• Overwatch 2 [Now Available] – Prime members can redeem 5+ Tier Skips in this free-to-play, team-based action game set in the optimistic future, where every match is the ultimate 5v5 battlefield brawl.
• Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 [Now Available] – Prime members can grab the Track Rivals Bundle, including Final Moments Victus XMR Blueprint, Nitro Lachmann Sub Blueprint, Dustmaker UTV Skin, Heel Toe Hatchback Skin and Racing Team sticker and Racing Team sticker.
