TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is going to Dimension Shellshock with new DLC

The already awesome Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is getting an expansion loaded up with Usagi Yojimbo, a new mode, and more.

Oooowwwww shellshock

Here’s some extremely welcome news: TMNT: Shredder’s revenge is getting DLC, and it’ll be delivered in a double-dose, with both free and paid forms. Yep, there’s a heck of a lot more inbound for the classically-styled side-scroller, as Dotemu and Tribute Games rev up the retro for Dimension Shellshock.

That’s the official title of the paid pack, which will bring none other than famed interdimensional Turtles-ally Usagi Yojimbo as a playable hero. But wait, there’s more, as the pack will also dish out a new game mode, as well as a set of new color palettes for the base Turtles.

Along with the new character, mode, and colors, will be a fresh musical score. That’ll hit by way of the base title’s composer Tee Lopes, so you’ll have some more original tunes to slay Foot by as well.

As mentioned though, there’s even more, and that’s set to be free of charge. A complimentary pack of content will land for all versions of the game as well, which will serve up even more color palette options for the mean ‘n’ green teens.

So altogether, there’s a lot to look forward to as goes Shredder’s Revenge. If you’re a TMNT fan or you just love side-scrolling action games, and for some reason haven’t played the base game yet, why not check out our review? Spoiler: It kicks shell.
