Created by a team that includes former Frostpunk and The Witcher 3 developers, Gord will see players command the Tribe of the Dawn and embrace the ethical complexity of leadership as they shepherd their community and protect them from invaders and monstrous beasts. They will need to oversee their citizens’ hunger, disease, and trauma, nurture their faith and train them for battle, while also expanding their settlements – the titular ‘gords’ – and embarking on a variety of life-threatening quests.

Gord was already confirmed for the PC (by way of Steam), but is now confirmed for the Xbox Series X|S and PS5. It seems like there’s a bit of a renaissance for strategy games on consoles as of late, and it’s pretty nice to see. Stay tuned, Gord arrives some time this summer.
