Heavy metal sequel Valfaris: Mecha Therion powers up for a PC demo

If you dug the metallic side-scrolling action of Valfaris, then you might want to get to downloading the brand new Steam demo for its sequel.

Mech suit anyone?

Can a game get more metal than the original Valfaris? Yeah, actually it can if you get to pilot a mech suit. That’s what you’ll be doing in this new demo, now available on Steam as a part of Next Fest.

Therion returns as the hunt for Lord Vroll continues. Pilot an advanced machine of death and destruction in this explosive 2.5D side-scrolling shoot ‘em up, and sequel to the critically acclaimed Valfaris. Strap in and unleash mecha hell!

Big Sugar press release

Fans can rock and roll their way through the final game’s entire second stage in this fresh playable look. That’s along with trying out a selection of weapons that include the “Hellwraith, a minigun that shoots tormented souls, and Therion’s Fist, a giant hammer infused with blood electricity”.

Ready to rock? Then head over to Steam and grab this 15-30min demo. And while you’re at it, maybe wishlist a copy of Steel Mantis’ Valfaris: Mecha Therion. It’s aiming to arrive for Xbox and PlayStation platforms, as well as the Switch and PC some time this year.
