Check out some awesome, original art from Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus, then go buy it on the PS Store

Looking to dig into a true PlayStation classic this Holiday week? Then you might want to shift your gaze to the PS Store, for Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus.

Original Oddball

Okay, so yes the actual announcement is that the original PSOne title Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus is out now on the PS4 and PS5. But before we get into that, check out the fantastic art that was included in the press release.

That’s all original stuff in the gallery above, from the game’s launch in 1998. Originally the second game in the series, Abe’s Exoddus hit for the first PlayStation on September 18th, and was the middle game in a trilogy that would also see Munch’s Oddyssey. Since then, the series has basically been restarted with a set of modern remakes, but seeing this classic stuff from the IPs early days is just too cool.

Oh right, as for that original game, it’s out now on the PS4 and PS5, by way of the PS Store. I happen to really like the way it’s described in the press release, so scroll down for the message in its entirety.
