Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 makes a stunning appearance at The Game Awards

If you’ve been waiting patiently for a look at Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2’s campaign, you’re in for one heck of a ride with the first trailer.

When you think about it, Warhamemr 40K: Space Marine was kind of a surprise hit. An action game set in the Warhammer 40K universe seems like a no-brainer, but it had never really been tried before that title, and to see it pulled off so well was terrific.

It’s puzzling why there wasn’t another title taking advantage of the genre, but that’s besides the point. Because if you’re a Space Marine fan, you’re going to be in techno-heaven with the first trailer, which debuted at The Game Awards last night.

The action showcased is stunning, with tons of enemies on screen at once, creating a tidal wave of Tyranid scum that need to be purged. And of course, that’s something that Lieutenant Titus is more than up for.

The cult-classic Space Marine franchise is about to return with a high-octane new experience set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, showcased in a bombastic trailer featuring the voice of actor Clive Standen (Vikings, Taken) in the role of fan-favorite Lieutenant Titus.

Embody a Space Marine, a superhuman warrior who protects humanity from untold horrors, in brutally efficient third-person action. Expect the distinctively fast and fluid game feel from best-in-class studio Saber Interactive—the team and engine behind World War Z.
