Nintendo Download: Turtles Through Time

The Cowabunga Collection arrives for the Switch this week, bringing a massive set of TMNT. But it’s not alone, as PAC-MAN is along for the ride.

Cowabunga Re-PAC

It’s a pretty great week for Switch gamers in this Nintendo Download, with a pair of solid headline games, and a whole mess of smaller launches. Of course, those headliners are include exclusively games that we’ve seen before, though not presented in this way.

Take the Cowabunga Collection, for example. A package deal, the set includes 13 classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games, from the arcade titles to the NES, SNES, and Genesis games. They’re not just vanilla presentations either, as the CC includes online and off co-op play, save game features, and a rewind button. Yes, you’ll finally be able to beat the original TMNT on the NES.

Following that one up, is PAC-MAC World Re-PAC. Bandai Namco’s remake of the PSOne-era title, PAC-MAN World Re-PAC rePACkages the little yellow guy’s first and best 3D platforming adventure. The publisher calls it a remaster, but it looks a little too good for that.

As for the rest of the list, a giant selection of smaller releases rounds things out. It doesn’t look like there are any real names to take note of there, but there are a bunch, so you never know. One of them might just grab your attention.
