Delayed no more, Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 arrives next month

Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 got hit with the delay-bug in May, seeing a shift to some future date. But it turns out the wait isn’t gonna be all that long.

Stories will be told

Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 is a pretty big change from the original game. While the themes remain obviously, Fulqrum Publishing and Blini Games’ sequel alters the look of this twin-stick roguelite fairy radically.

Instead of a pixel art visage, LUS2 swaps in a comic book-like, hand-drawn aesthetic. While it does look different, it’s shaping up to be just as detailed (if not more so) as the original. Check it out in the player below.

Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 continues the narrative of the cult classic first game, but this time players will continue the fight against the unknown with new elements like crafting – using blueprints and resources to create consumables and even new equipment. Reunite with old acquaintances and meet new characters, explore new procedurally generated locations, defend themselves against dozens of different enemies and face off against epic bosses. But beware… Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 is more challenging than ever before, and the tough nightmarish creatures opposing you will not give up easily!

Fulqrum Publishing press release

Look good? On board? Well if you are, you’re going to be happy to hear that the delay is almost over. While we weren’t sure when it might emerge originally, it looks like Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 will be hitting full retail next moth, on September 13th, 2022.

The horror shooter will be available via Steam, GOG, and Epic, and will be priced in at $24.99 USD. And as a number of games have done in recent years, there will be a launch discount, with purchases in the first week of sale receiving a cool 15% off.
