Not to be overshadowed by the glut of announcements on the general “Xbox” end of yesterday’s show, Bethesda had a few key titles on display.
Games of show
While Microsoft had a bunch of big games showing at yesterday’s not-E3 showcase, Bethesda’s might have been the ones that most fans got excited about. Not only were some big names included in that lot, but a game that legions of players have been looking forward to appeared as well. Of course, that’s Starfield.
Starfield looked very bit the triple-A title that it’s been promised to be. It’s absolutely massive in scope, looking awesome, and. with more to do than all but the most devoted will ever likely (throughly) explore. The Elder Scrolls meets No Man’s Sky? Yeah, pretty much.
But while that was the biggest impact of the day, a few other titles made appearances, and impressed in their pwn right. Redfall for instance. The vampire-hunting title might not even have been on your radar heading into the showcase, but it’s looking better than ever. And it’s shaping up to be a game that Left 4 Dead fans, and those who just like a good horror-tinged romp, might want to check out.
Other than those, there was also content centered on Fallout 76, and of course The Elder Scrolls Online. Both looking good, these now long-legged games continue to roll with fresh content.
Here’s the full look at what we saw:
