Embark on an historic journey with Hot Toys’ new Back to the Future figures

Back to the Future continues to go through a bit of a renaissance. Over the last few years, interest in the movies has reignited (if it ever actually waned) and as a result, we now have multiple figure lines. The best is yet to come on that front though, because Hot Toys’ figures have finally gone up for pre-order.

Kicking things off is the Marty McFly and Einstein Collectible Set. That’s right as in Einstein, Doc’s dog. Sold as a pair in this special set, Marty includes a ton of accessories, plus the high level of articulation, attention to detail, and sculpting you’d expect from Hot Toys.

Marty and Einstein are set to ship out this Holiday, some time from November to January.

But what’s Marty and Einy without the Doc? So of course, he’s coming along too, with an equally impressive figure. Or, actually, pair of figures. Like with many of Hot Toys’ figures, the Doc has a standard and Deluxe version.

The difference there being that the Deluxe includes a case of plutonium. Not actual plutonium of course, but from the looks of it, an exact copy of the prop from the original film.

If you’re hoping to build your display as soon as possible though, cool those jets a bit. While Marty is coming up fairly soon, the Doc won’t be along till quarter 1… 2023.
