Brand new Star Wars Scout Trooper and Speeder Bike coming up from Hot Toys

Collectible maker Hot Toys has a new figure and deluxe set on tap, featuring one of the biggest fan favorite Stormtrooper designs from Star Wars.

If you’re a fan of the original Star Wars trilogy, then you likely have a soft spot for the Imperial Scout Trooper. Easily one of the biggest fan favorite Stormtrooper variants, the Scout Trooper was featured in Return of the Jedi, in the climactic Battle of Endor.

And now they’re getting a fresh release from Hot Toys, as a part of the company’s high end collector series. Well actually, they’re getting two. There will be a single figure release, as well as a set with an included speeder bike.

The 1/6th scale figure will feature new armor pieces, as well as detailed weathering. And the companion piece is looking just as cool, with both a stand and diorama piece for it to rest on.

The 1/6 scale Scout Trooper Collectible Figure features:

• An authentic and detailed likeness of a Scout Trooper as seen in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi                                                                                                                                      
• A newly developed helmet, and finely crafted body armor with specially applied distressed / weathering effects 
• One textured black fabric under-suit
• A newly developed 1/6 scale body with over 30 points of articulation- Seven interchangeable hands
• One utility belt with pouches
• One pair of weathered boots with pistol holster
• One blaster rifle
• One blaster pistol

The above is available as a pre-order now, from Hot Toys’ retail partner Sideshow. It’s scheduled to ship in the third quarter of 2022, and is priced in at $505 USD.

As for the standalone figure, that’s ready for pre-ordering as well, and is the same figure that’s included in the set. Of course, without the speeder it’s just a bit cheaper.
