Making quite the niche for itself is the Evercade. The little handheld console, which launched earlier this year, already has an impressive collection of collected edition carts.

Starring some of the biggest classics of yesteryear, the library is plowing ahead as well. Today there’s a new collection to show off, with Indie Heroes Collection 1.

Evercade is pleased to formally announce the addition of the first Indie Heroes Collection Cartridge to its ever-growing library. This collection showcases 14 games from 10 different developers from around the world. From story-driven 8bit horrors to adventure-filled platformers – Indie Heroes shows that Evercade is capable of delivering diverse gaming experiences with plenty of depth.
