Just in case you forgot, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s open beta for the PS4 hits tomorrow for those who’ve pre-ordered. Saturday if you haven’t.
Beta time
The weird year of 2020 continues as a game that really wasn’t announced all that long ago already has a beta. And that’s not to mention that the actual retail release is next month.
In any event, we told you last week about this open beta for Black Ops Cold War, but just in case some of the details slipped your mind, we’ve got a refresher for you. The beta begins tomorrow, Thursday the 8th, for those who have already pre-ordered the game for PS4. Yes, this round of the test is PS4-exclusive.
Now, if you didn’t pre-order and you’re playing on a PS4, you can actually still get in on this weekend’s action. All you have to do is wait a couple of days. The open beta (again, for PS4 only) begins on Saturday for everyone else.
So what do you do if you’re not on the PS4? Well, you wait a little longer. The general open beta is still very much coming up, and lands for everyone next weekend, on the 17th. So you’ll still be able to get in a little time with the game, no matter which platform you’re gaming on.
