Here come the X-Men in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3

Looking for Marvel’s mutants in Ultimate Alliance 3? Till now, there’ve been a scant few. Today’s trailer though, brings some big time fan faves.

The Brotherhood and X-Men, united

As revealed with the likes of Venom, it looks like Magneto’s Brotherhood will be a villainous force at first. You’ll have to fight them before teaming up to take on Thanos’ Black Order.

As the trailer released today shows, Magneto has an Infinity Stone, and uses it to launch an all-out attack on the X-mansion. After a dust-up with the X-Men, they’re all faced with Thanos’ squad.

Story points aside, the trailer also reveals a number of X-Men characters that will be included as playable. We already knew about Storm, Wolverine, and Deadpool, but now we’ve got Psylocke, Nightcrawler, Scarlet Witch, and the Beast. On the opposite side, it looks like (eventually) Magneto, Mystique, and Juggernaut will be included too.

Unfortunately there are no signs of team staples like Cyclops, Jean Grey, Rogue, Colossus, or Gambit yet. But who knows, we definitely haven’t seen the whole roster yet. While it’s unlikely, there may be a few more mutants hiding in there.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 lands exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on July 19th.
