New Saints Row The Third Switch trailer has sky high action

Check out the opening to Saints Row The Third in the latest trailer for Deep Silver’s re-release. It’s heading to Nintendo Switch this month.

Second time for the Third

Kicking off with a stunt scene that’s reminiscent of 007 or the Mission: Impossible movies is Saints Row The Third. With the game heading to Switch this month, publisher Deep Silver is showcasing some of the open-world action title’s best scenes.

It all begins with a failed bank heist. From there the Saints and (way more evil) Syndicate find themselves together, aboard a luxury airliner. It’s action at 30,000 feet above the city of Stilwater.

Insane? Yeah, a little, but this is Saints Row. The series is seemingly done after a somewhat apocalyptic Saints Row 4, but SRIII remains a favorite for many fans. It’s just cool to see the series in action again too, and maybe gives a little hope that the boys and girls in purple aren’t finished quite yet.

I have to say too, that the game looks pretty sharp there, on the Nintendo Switch. Deep Silver says the footage was captured direct from a Switch, with the game running on a TV in 1080p.

Ready to head back to Stilwater? Saints Row: The Third: The Full Package hits the Switch on May 10.
