Divinity: Original Sin II had a ton to live up to, with the original game in the series already being a fan-favorite. But it certainly appears as though it does more than just keep par with that first game. OSII has garnered acclaim from fans and the press alike, in its original form on the PC.
It’s about to go into the console realm though, with an Xbox One and PS4 version that’s just been announced. No, there’s no Switch version. But as teed off as you might be at that little piece of news, sit tight, because this is one RPG that you might just want to play on a console that’s a little more graphics intensive.
Looks pretty sharp, no? There’ll be some serious marketing muscle behind this release too. While the original was a Kickstarter, indie affair on the PC, the console edition will have Bandai Namco behind it. There’s no specific date as of yet, but you can expect to see Divinity: Original Sin II on The PS4 and Xbox One some time this August.
