The first of the planned trio of expansions for Bethesda’s Wolfenstein sequel, Gunslinger Joe is officially on the line of scrimmage.
The Freedom Chronicles
The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe features former professional football player Joseph Stallion as he barrels through legions of Nazis using his Ram Shackles ability. Follow him from the devastated ruins of Chicago to the vastness of space in the first in a series of three DLC packs, each starring a unique hero.
I don’t know if this is a theme that’ll continue or not, but I love the pulp feel of this first Freedom Chronicles adventure. It’s an absolutely perfect fit for the world of Wolfenstein, and I hope it does indeed roll on into the last two packs (still coming up).
Right now though, it’s just Joe. Starring in The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe, Joe looks like he’ll be bringing a world of hurt to the Reich, and apparently he’ll be heading all the way to space in the process. Neat.
