Marvel Legacy’s ACTUAL big return revealed

Did you think that Phoenix was the big returning character for Marvel Legacy? Yeah, I did too. But we were wrong. Warning: SPOILERS GALORE

The best there is at what he does.

Revealed by several news outlets today, Marvel has given the press the go-ahead on an interview with editor-in-chief Alex Alonso. In it, he reveals that Jean Grey isn’t the revenant we al assumed her to be. Oh, she’s back alright, but she’s not the reveal that Marvel has been alluding to for months. That’d be Wolverine.

No not Old Man Logan, though it’s unclear what’ll be happening with him, and not Laura Kinney (X-32) either. I’m talking about Wolverine. Logan, otherwise known as James Howlett, is back in a big way.

A few years back, the character was killed off. His advanced healing factor was slowing through nefarious means, and he ended up encased in a block of admantium that hardened around him. It was a pretty big storyline, and took the super popular hero out of action for some time. Of course, every Marvel fan knew that he’d be back eventually.

I have to say though, Old Man Logan showing up in the Marvel U proper after Secret Wars kind of threw me off. I had assumed that his arrival would mean that we’d be without the “actual” Logan for a good long time. And yet, here we are.

Personally, and as a big X-Men fan, I’m thrilled with the return. I liked OML well enough, but there’s no replacing an icon like Wolverine with a shadow of his former self. Can’t wait for this Wednesday, that’s when Wolverine returns, in the pages of Marvel Legacy #1.

Oh, and did I mention that he’s got an Infinity Stone? Well, he has one. Hit the source link below to read more.
