The starter pack for Epic Games’ new MOBA Paragon is set to be free for PS4 owners via PS+ in July.
Paragon is looking like an excellent new addition to the MOBA genre. Part of that is because of the unique design (for a MOBA). Not just your usual battle arena affair, Paragon gives you direct control over your character.
So you won’t be pointing and clicking, because it plays more or less like a third-person shooter. Pretty awesome actually, and this is coming from someone who’s not all that into the genre.

PS+? Then Paragon’s free for you
Not actually available as an open beta till August, PlayStation fans are in for a special treat.
Just for this coming month, the Paragon Starter Pack will be free to download and play with, if you’re a PS+ member. Calling it the Early Access Season, Epic says that players will get to experience the world of Agora in several ways with the Pack.
Master Challenges will be available for three heroes (Murdock, Rampage, and Gadget). These Challenges will bestow a special Challenger skin and a permanent Hero Level XP boost. These bonuses can be gotten for all three of the available characters too.
So if you are PS+, then you’ll want to get into this one starting on July the 5th. If you’re not, well you don’t have all that long to wait. The game hits open beta on August 16th on both the PS4 and the PC.
