Dead Rising 4 brings zombies home for the Holidays

Just announced at the Xbox press conference, Dead Rising 4 brings a little holiday cheer, and the return of Frank West.

Yep #FrankisBack alright, and he’s got a whole hell of a lot of zombies with him. I mean, did you see all those rotters on the bridge by the school bus? Good thing he’s also got his usual assortment of completely insane weaponry with him for his big return. And an exo-suit… can’t forget that. Might we be seeing some super-human action this time around? Maybe.

Fans of the Xbox-exclusive series will remember that a DR2 expansion pack and then subsequent reimagining were the last sightings of the zombie-slaughtering photog, Frank West. A fan-fave though, he’s finally back in the starring role for the fourth outing for the series, and what certainly seems like a Christmas-time apocalypse. Also of note, it looks like at least part of the game will take place back in the Willamette mall, the first site of the zombie outbreaks from way back in the original game.

There’s not a ton of info on Dead Rising 4 just yet, but we do know that Capcom’s latest is on the way for this coming Holiday. Well, that and  that it’s looking pretty fantastic from the first round of screens and that trailer.
