JRPG Demos and Some Big Releases Mark This Weeks Nintendo Download

Whether you’re here for the latest in Nintendo’s line-up, or for some freebie demos, this week has got you covered.

The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes and Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water both launch this week, and demos for Level-5’s YO-KAI WATCH and Atlus’s Stella Glow are both available for download on the 3DS.

Both games will launch sometime in November, so now’s not a bad time to see if they’re your cup of tea.  We’ll have a review of Stella Glow up closer to release, but nothing beats your own hands on time.

The new Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden also launches on 3DS, and Just Dance 2016 hits the Wii U.

I’m super excited to get my hands on both Triforce Heroes and Fatal Frame.  I’m an avid Four Swords Adventures fan, and it’s the right time of the year to play through the horrifying scenes of a Fatal Frame.  I’ll probably grab some demos too, while I’m at it: I’m interested to see how Japan’s latest fandom plays out, and Stella Glow seems enough similar to DS SRPG Luminous Arc that I might enjoy it.

  • Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water – Investigate a series of suspicious disappearances while surviving the haunted woods atop the mysterious Mt. Hikami.
