Get reacquainted with the Chief and his team in this new Halo 5 trailer

For Halo fans, this is probably the trailer that you’ve been waiting on. Master Chief and his team of well-worn Spartan II’s are set to take it to the reconstituted Covenant.

As a Halo fan myself, that hit the spot. As awesome as the first trailer showing Locke and his squad in action was (and it was really pretty rad), this new video just nails the ‘Halo’ feel right on the head.

Here we’ve got John-117 (series hero the Master Chief) heading into battle with his fellow Spartans, who fans should recognize immediately from the Halo Expanded Universe of both the novels and the comics. As with the first trailer, we don’t get any gameplay footage here, so there’s something still to look forward to, but man is it looking phenomenal. Very difficult to not get excited if you dig the franchise.

I’m sure too, that Microsoft and 343 Industries will be releasing plenty of in-game footage in the near future, as Halo 5: Guardians is coming on in short order. The game hits exclusively for the Xbox One on October 27th.
