New Madden 16 trailer is action-packed and… weird

I’m not really sure what I just saw in this new Madden 16 trailer.

So, can we expect a full length film out of this or no? Because honestly, I think I’d watch it. And I don’t know what that says.

While there’s (probably) nothing more to Madden: The Movie than this oddball trailer, the video does serve a purpose according to publisher EA. And that’s to get fans pumped for what’s coming up very soon now, the launch of Madden 16.

The game itself touts the all-new Draft Champions mode, and gives the passing game a much needed kick in the pants, aiming to make gamers feel even more like playmaking quarterbacks on the virtual gridiron. I actually had a lot of fun with last year’s version, so I’m more than a little interested to see what’s new in the 2015/16 version of the long-running football title. Even though there won’t be any football-launching guns in it (I don’t think).

Madden 16 launches for last and current-gen Xbox and PlayStation consoles tomorrow, August 25th.
