The second major expansion for Bungie’s Destiny is now available. Ready for the house of Wolves?
This one’s been a long time coming, with slips and leaks aplenty early on, but it’s finally here. Destiny has had some pretty good legs too over the course of it’s (so far) short life too, and Bungie has likewise big plans for its future with plenty more in the way of House of Wolves to come. They’re kind of looking for it to have a decade long lifespan after all, so I imagine you can expect to see lots more like this in the months and years to come.
I’m not really all that into the whole MMO thing, which is kinda sorta what Destiny is, though I certainly see that new expansions in more traditional massively multiplayer affairs tend to bring back the players in droves, so the same might be true here. Destiny has maintained a nice player base, but with this new release, we might see an explosion of gamers exploring it’s dark future once again, or even for the first time. Especially since the game’s point of entry has dropped a bit in price, it’s more attractive than ever to get into Bungie’s latest space saga. And hey, who’s complaining about more content?
Destiny: House of Wolves is available right now.
