Whoa does Bloodshot Reborn look amazing in this new trailer

Trailers for comics are becoming more and more the norm, and this one for Valiant Comics’ Bloodshot Reborn is as cool as they come.

They do have a way with these things don’t they?

Valiant’s newest launch is actually a relaunch as Bloodshot is being rebranded (complete with a new #1 issue) into Bloodshot Reborn. Stripped of his nanotech powers (or… is he?), the former killing machine known as Bloodshot is trying to forge a new existence for himself and Earth’s latest incarnation of the Geomancer after the events of The Valiant.

It sounds like though, that peace isn’t really something thats in the cards for him. In fact, this new series starts off with a bang as killers start to appear that look suspiciously like he used to. And that’s something that he can’t ignore.

“I think [Bloodshot’s] a really fascinating character; he’s almost a modern Frankenstien,” writer Jeff Lemire told Entertainment Weekly. “This guy whose life was torn apart and he was turned into a monster, really—the most tragic part being whoever he was before this is lost to him now. He may have had a family. Who knows what his life was like? To me, that’s a very tragic kind of thing, and a very easy thing for a writer to hook into and explore.”

The “indestructible man-turned-machine” heads back into action this April the 15th in Bloodshot Reborn #1 from the team of Lemire, Matt Kindt, and Paolo Rivera.
