Ubisoft To Offer ‘Dead Kings’ DLC Free To Assassin’s Creed Unity Owners

Ubisoft offer free DLC as an apology to customers.

It’s fair to say that Assassin’s Creed Unity has had quite a lot of problems at launch.  As an apology to people who have bought the game, Ubisoft are offering free stuff, which is nice.

If you own Assassin’s Creed Unity for PS4, Xbox One or PC, you will be able to get the upcoming ‘Dead Kings’ DLC for the game completely free of charge.  If you’ve already bought the Season Pass, which would have included the Dead Kings DLC, you’re not being left out, as you will be able to claim a free game for your system from the following list: –

  • The Crew
  • Far Cry 4
  • Watch Dogs
  • Assassin’s Creed Black Flag
  • Rayman Legends
  • Just Dance 2015

For more information about this offer, you can find the FAQs here.

  1. To be honest, I feel people who didn’t buy the Season Pass are getting a relatively crappy deal. They get free DLC whereas Season Pass buyers are getting a whole game for free. But I suppose it’s better than nothing.

  2. That… Really does kind of suck for those who just have the game. I never buy season passes (bought one for Injustice and stopped playing way before the season ended), but I kind of wish I did this time around. Then again, I’ve been waiting on the game too lol
