Ready to be emotionally scarred by Telltale’s masterful adventure game series one more time?
Titled ‘No Going Back’, the season 2 finale trailer teases some story developments for Clementine that might be of the darker variety. Of course, since it’s The Walking Dead, it also plays with the heart and mind quite a bit.
There’s just no avoiding that this is easily one of the most emotional video games… well, pretty much ever. Even in a season 2 that took a while to get off the ground, Telltale has managed to weave a tight narrative that has fans chomping fort the finale like a walker chomping at some fresh meat.
Dates, platforms- here’s when you’ll be able to get Dead, one more time (till season 3 anyway):
- August 26th: PC/Mac via Steam, the Telltale Online Store and other digital distribution services; on the PlayStation Store in North America (SCEA) for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita
- August 27th: Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft; on the PlayStation Store in European territories (SCEE) for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita
- August 28th: Available as an in-app purchase within The Walking Dead: Season Two on the iOS App Store
While that’s the lions share of the release dates, Telltale also tells us that there’s more to come with tablet “mobile, handheld, and micro-console devices” also en route. So stay tuned for those if that’s your way to play. Who will you become?
