The Red Solstice dawning on Steam Early Access this week

Another title from new indie publisher Nkidu, The Red Solstice sets players on an 8 player co-op mission into the heart of Mars during a massive storm. Oh, and there are nasty aliens to fight too, but you probably already figured that one out.

Brought to you by Nkidu and developer Ironward, The Red Solstice has a focus on action,  but there’s plenty more going on under the hood too, including the fact that you’ll need to work together to survive the unforgiving Martian world of the far-future. There will be 8 player classes in all,  equipment that you’ll be able to customize as you play, and “much more”. In addition, the levels are procedurally generated, so you’ll get a random set of obstacles and enemies to make your way through each time you fire the game up, which is always a good time.

With 8 players at once too, there should be a pretty nice feeling of having to work together to make it through- and at the same time, not quite knowing exactly what you’re about to come up against next.

The Early Access version of The Red Solstice is set to be released in a few days time, on July 10th.
